Few Harley dealerships in the country can boast the family legacy of Peterson Harley-Davidson. Founded in 1954 by Phil Peterson in Key West, Florida, Peterson Harley-Davidson had humble beginnings. Just in from Wisconsin, Phil and his young wife Charlotte fell in love with paradise and bought the little shop at the end of the road.

Hard work, dedication, attention to detail and a focus on customer service guaranteed Phil's success and the future success of Peterson's Harley-Davidson. The word soon spread that in the Southernmost town in the United States a person could buy a good new or used Sportster, Dyna, Softail, Touring, or other motorcycles for a reasonable price, have it worked on by a qualified mechanic and be treated with courtesy and respect.

62 years later, the same attention to detail and customer satisfaction is still the number one priority at Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami in Florida. These days Phil is retired, but sons Dirk and Drew are constantly working hard to keep the same standards associated with the Peterson's Harley-Davidson family name.
